Bi Luo Chun is primarily produced in towns such as Dongshan and Xishan in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. These areas boast a favorable geographic location, situated near Taihu Lake, with a moist climate and fertile soil. The irrigation from the lake, abundant rainfall, and misty climate provide ample water and oxygen for the tea plants, contributing to the formation of high-quality tea leaves.

Tea Plant Variety and Growth:

Bi Luo Chun is predominantly cultivated from the Ku Qiao tea plant variety. Characterized by tender, green leaves, this variety is rich in amino acids and catechins, playing a crucial role in imparting the distinctive aroma and taste of Bi Luo Chun. Production Process:

The production process of Bi Luo Chun is unique and involves multiple steps such as picking, withering, rolling, fixing, and drying. The rolling process, in particular, is a key step. Hand-rolling is employed to shape the tea leaves into a spiral, giving Bi Luo Chun its distinctive appearance. The precision of the production process directly influences the quality of the tea leaves.

Aroma and Taste:

Bi Luo Chun exudes a refreshing and elegant aroma with floral and fruity notes, creating a delightful and uplifting experience. 

Brewing Method:

Bi Luo Chun is best brewed with hot water at a temperature of around 80-85°C (176-185°F). The brewing time can be adjusted based on personal preferences, generally ranging from 1 to 2 minutes. With each infusion, the tea reveals different aspects of its aroma and taste, showcasing the layered complexity of the tea leaves.
